If you're reading this, you should also hear what Rhett has to say

I've been a fan of Rhett and Link for a long time.  (Proof from 2014, 2015, and 2017)

A year ago, Rhett and Link "came clean" about the fact that they used to be very devout, full-time, evangelical Christians.  It was their whole lives.  They discussed this fact and their eventual departure from evangelical Christianity in a series of podcasts they called "The Lost Years."

Their podcast as a whole is called Ear Biscuits.  I've only listened to a handful of episodes, but these ones are very interesting for anyone who is thinking critically about their membership in a high-demand religion.  I've created a Spotify playlist that includes the three "Lost Years" episodes, an episode wherein they discuss the loss of their best friend, and then the most recent episode, "Rhett's Spiritual Deconstruction - One Year Later."  There will be another episode soon for Link's "One Year Later" discussion.

Here's the playlist.

If you're not a big podcast listener, at least get through episode 226: Rhett's Spiritual Deconstruction.

And if you can get through one more, make it 275: Rhett's Spiritual Deconstruction, One Year Later.

I'll avoid paraphrasing or summarizing any of the podcast content here because Rhett does such a great job putting his thoughts together.  Check it out.
